Sometimes the best “I love you’s” aren’t the big ones. Sometimes they aren’t in grand gestures or written letters, or being shouted from a roof-top for all to hear. Sometimes, they are in the smallest of small details. And that had never been more true than that afternoon as they stood together at the end of the aisle, with their fingers entwined between them. Not because they were asked to, or because they thought they should, but because holding on to each other that tightly was the only way they knew. And in a day filled with sweet gestures big and small, that one detail was the best “I love you” of them all . . . . .

Megan + Casey are married! They had a gorgeous wedding at the very same venue that we were married at four and half years ago, and we were so insanely excited to get the chance to document a beautiful wedding day in a place that is so near and dear to our hearts. Megan looked absolutely stunning in her Maggie Sottero gown, and Casey looked incredibly dashing as well. (I am pretty sure Ben made at least 2-3 James Bond references!)

After a pretty intense storm that afternoon the entire sky lightened up for their outdoor ceremony, which was full of so much love and laughter. And speaking of laughter I of course can’t go without saying that these two had one of the most fun, laid-back bridal parties ever! We had a blast with everyone, and loved getting to spend the day with all of their friends and family. At the reception Megan’s dad gave one of the most touching speeches that left everyone (including a few photographers you may know) with misty eyes and full hearts. It was so sweet the way he passed the baton on to Casey as the main man in Megan’s life, and we know Casey is going to carry that baton perfectly.

Megan + Casey, from burrito dates to trivia night to the epic celebration that was your big day, we have had the best time on this wedding adventure with you guys! Thank you for having us there to document your best day ever, we couldn’t have loved it more. Hope you are having the best time in Italy!
