She calls him her unicorn. In that he’s something a girl could only dream of finding, and that he makes everything feel just a bit more magical. And because, just like a unicorn, a man like him is most certainly rare and hard to find. But when you look at the way his entire face lights up in her presence, or the way he laughs so easily when she’s in his arms, it’s obvious. That he makes everything a bit more magical because that’s how she makes him feel. And that the rarest thing of all is the kind of love they’ve found with each other . . .

Stephanie + David are married! The had the most amazing New Year’s Eve celebration beneath the string lights of the Davis Islands Garden Club, and after an evening ceremony the two of them celebrated with their closest family and friends. The couple kept the day unique with a ton of special touches, including Stephanie’s stunning Jenny Lee gown from Kleinfeld in NYC, dressing the bridal party in ivory, and using the names of their favorite poets in lieu of table numbers. We loved that this day not only felt so much about the two of them and the love they have found, but that it also felt like the most fun New Year’s party ever! There were eclectic food stations for guests to nibble on throughout the night, beignets in place of a traditional cake, and when midnight came the new year was rung in with the biggest bottle of champagne we’ve ever seen, and a view of multiple fireworks displays throughout downtown. It was a perfectly magical ending to a wedding day.

Stephanie + David, thank you for the honor of documenting your love. You two have truly found something special in each other and we were humbled to be the ones you chose to preserve this day.
