Their’s is a love that can keep them warm from the cold. And that day, it did. As the wind roared and the rain came down, they stood close and held each other tight. Not caring about the chill around them or the mist that hit their skin. Simply thinking about the promise they would make to each other later that day, and the memories that would be made in all the days to follow. Because in just a few hours, the rest of forever would officially begin . . . .

Melissa and Carl are married! After a smiley first look they had an evening wedding ceremony and a wonderful party of a reception at The Regent. The Regent was decorated with warm uplighting on the walls and a mix of high/low centerpieces filling the tables, and it all perfectly complemented the stunning features of the room. We also loved that they included their love of movies with sweet movie quotes on each table number (including a favorite of ours from The Notebook!).

The day was a little blustery, but the entire bridal party was full of troopers as we ventured out into the wind and rain to grab some portraits, and we are so very happy they did! We adored the color palette of the bridesmaid’s dresses, as well as all of the detail of Melissa’s gorgeous Allure gown, and were especially obsessed with the perfect cap sleeves. She kept her bridal look clean and simple with white shoes and a little bit of sparkle in her details, and Carl looked every bit as timeless in his tux.
