tampa yacht & country club wedding: kaitlin + robert

There’s an easiness about the two of them. Not just in the way they love each other, or laugh together. But in the entirety of the way they live their days. Being around them you feel a little lighter and the world seems a little brighter, because it’s impossible not to feel the warmth of their light. To feel the warmth of their love. And that day in a church filled with all their favorite faces, they made a promise to pour that light into each other other so fiercely it would spill out into the world around them, and make the world a little brighter wherever they’d go . . . . .

Kaitlin and Robert are married! In what was the best ending to 2019 we could have ever wished for, these two spoke their vows at Christ the King Catholic Church and had an epic dance party of a reception at the Tampa Yacht Club! From the beginning of this day when we first laid eyes on Kaitlin’s dress, we knew it was going to be a truly amazing day (because with that many sparkles it HAS to be!) and were most definitely not wrong. Keep on scrolling and we’ll prove it ; )

After a private first look the duo joined their bridal party and headed to UT for portraits. We loved getting to see their fluffy pup Bernie again (you may remember him from their South Tampa engagement session) and were smitten with the way the color palette popped against the architecture of the campus. The rain began just in time for us to pop into Le Meridien for some family portraits, and then everyone came together at Christ the King to watch them say their vows.

The reception didn’t deliver any seating assignments or strict formalities, just a whole lotta fun and what we think *may* just be the most energetic dance party we’ve ever seen at a wedding! From the moment guests entered the ballroom (after an outdoor dinner of delish stations beneath the string lights) Bobby and the Aristocats kicked off an upbeat dance party beneath the most adorable custom neon sign. (We may have already begun the Google search of getting one of these for ourselves….it was just.that.cute!) And with choreographed dances, a surprise performance by the groom, and a sparkler exit that ended with a boat getaway the night was full of excitement from start to finish.

Kaitlin and Robert, thank you so much for inviting us into this time in your lives! We have genuinely loved getting to spend time with you both and feel so lucky to have been a tiny part of your love story.

Love + Laughs,
