Holly emailed us back in December, while Zac was deployed. They knew they would be getting married when he returned, and even though he had not yet gotten to do his official proposal the plans were underway. So we got their engagement session on the calendar and anxiously awaited to hear about his return and the way he ended up officially proposing. Well friends, this was one proposal story worth waiting for, because he not only presented Holly with a gorgeous ring but also their dream dog, an adorable husky puppy. Holly of course said “yes!”, they agreed on a name of Maverick, and everything played our perfectly.
We all met up in Hyde Park for their engagement session, and we were thrilled to not only meet the two of them but also their new furry addition ; ) Maverick was so insanely cute, and was the perfect complement to his impeccably dressed mom and dad. We loved exploring all of our favorite Hyde Park spots, and popping Mav in and out for shots was insanely easy thanks to the oh-so-amazing Fairytale Pet Care (really can’t recommend these ladies enough!) And after a quick outfit change we all headed out to Davis Islands for some waterfront shots and one seriously epic sunset.
Holly and Zac, we felt so honored that you traveled to shoot with us. Thank you for such a fun, puppy-filled afternoon, we loved every minute!
