sacred heart tampa wedding: sam + ted

The voice of the priest rang through the sanctuary and the laughter of everyone near and dear to them echoed off the marble walls. There were readings and songs, stories of their first meeting, and a sermon about marriage. Their ceremony was finally here and underway. And amidst all of this, in the in between pauses and the quiet moments, you would see the two of them sneak glances towards one another. The exchanges wouldn’t last long and neither of them would actually speak, but their eyes and smiles said what they had each been wanting to all day. “I love you. I’ve waited so long to be here with you.  And I’m so excited to tell you ‘I Do’.” . . . . .

Sam and Ted are married! The day started out at the couple’s condo, where Sam and her girls were beautified by the lovely ladies of Kyle Lynn. Sam looked stunning, and when her mom helped her into her dress and she entered full-on bride mode it was hard not to get a little teary watching the two of them laugh together. We loved the open back design of her dress (which fit her FLAWLESSLY) and when Ted finally got to see here at the end of the aisle we are preeetttty sure he was straight up stunned. After a traditional ceremony at Sacred Heart we had so much time to explore Tampa, grab a ton of portraits, and give their bridal party some chill time for drinks and snacks on the party bus. It was the perfect bubble of time and gave the day such a laid back feel that kept the focus on the two of them.

After a short afternoon break, guests came back together for cocktail hour on the patio of the Westin Tampa Bay followed by a reception with a gorgeous waterfront view upstairs. The room was filled with high and low florals, white draping, and a timeless white dance floor. When guests entered the room they were greeted with an engraved glass of Rose (which also served as their favor for the evening) as well as a mini donut bar. (Rose and donuts maaaaay just be the new way to our hearts ; ) From there the night only got more fun, with a choreographed father-daughter dance and a best man speech so funny it LITERALLY received a standing ovation.

Sam and Ted, we hope you two know just how much we’ve loved being a part of this chapter in your lives, and we can’t wait to see where the next one takes you! Hope to see you at Disney! ; )
