Their journey to this day hadn’t been an easy one. Life had thrown a hurdle or two in their paths as it has a way of doing, but even so they walked it strongly together. And now here they finally were, hand in hand, sharing their hearts and promising their lives to one another. With the widest of smiles, the sweetest of vows, and a kiss that said the rest – they were married. No, the path to this day hadn’t been an easy one. But man, was it ever worth the trip . . . . . .

Mai and Patrick are married! They had a gorgeous wedding day at the Rusty Pelican on the most festive day of the year to make a promise with a kiss – New Year’s Eve. After sharing a tear-filled first look the two of them headed to their intimate ceremony on the waterfront, where the two of them spoke their sweet, self-written vows in front of their closest family and friends. After the ceremony the newlyweds were gifted a pretty epic first married sunset, and then headed in to their cocktail hour and reception.
As a tribute to their sweet pups guests were given a copy of A Dog’s Purpose as favors. And mini cupcakes perfectly accented their classic wedding cake. After visiting with guests during the cocktail hour (complete with a custom pasta bar which ALWAYS gets a yes from us 😉 the duo shared their first dance. It was so sweet to watch Patrick twirl his bride around the dance floor with so much adoration in his eyes, and Mai’s smile simply couldn’t have been any bigger. Consider our hearts BURST.
Mai and Patrick, thank you so much for inviting us to spend your Rusty Pelican wedding day by your side’s. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end our year!
Love + Laughs,
Sarah & Ben
