safety harbor engagement session: mai + patrick

Oh man guys. Hope you’re ready for a double dose of heart-exploding joy bombs this week because these two love birds are going to be gracing the blog twice! We are just obsessed with the love and happiness these two radiate (seriously, to meet them is to look in the face of pure, unfiltered sunshine). And we hope that every bit of that spills out of their images and into your day today. Get ready for some eye candy from their Safety Harbor engagement session!

We became a part of Mai and Patrick’s wedding journey a little later than normal, after they decided to go in a different direction from their previous photographer. Chatting with Mai on the phone two things were immediately obvious. 1) we were kindred spirits and 2) these two had been through SO many hurdles to get to their wedding and we wanted to do everything humanly possible to make the rest of their engagement as easy and joyful as possible. And joyful is the perfect way to describe every bit of time we spent with them.

Our first meeting on this afternoon at Philippe Park happened just a couple weeks before their wedding day. But even so it felt like a reunion with old friends. The two of them are so insanely welcoming, laid back, and just plain crazy about each other. So documenting them together couldn’t have been any easier (or sweeter). Mai has the most infectious smile, that literally brings one to your face just by being in her presence. And Patrick dotes on her in the loveliest of ways. He snuggles her sweetly and drops one liners that are so romantic that one of them maaay have brought a tear to a certain someone’s eye (but we all know by now I’m an easy target ; )

Mai and Patrick, thank you for an amazing afternoon! We are just so happy the four of us found each other and couldn’t feel luckier to be the ones to save these memories for you. Can’t wait to share your big day later this week, but for now we hope you love your Safety Harbor engagement session!

Love + Laughs,

Sarah & Ben
