oxford exchange wedding day: david + macy

She walked across the porch, tapped him on the shoulder, and waited for him to turn around. And when he did, his smile was huge, his eyes were a little teary and the whole world seemed to both freeze and move at warp speed all at once. And in a moment that was over far too soon,  he pulled her close, lifted her hand to his face and gave it the sweetest kiss. It was a tiny gesture with a giant message that said more than any words in that moment could. I love you. I cherish you. And I feel so insanely lucky that you’re mine. . . . . .

Macy and David are married! The two of them had a gorgeous wedding ceremony upstairs in the Shaw Library at Oxford Exchange followed by an amazing party of a reception downstairs on the marble floor. Macy wore the most perfectly fitted gown, which had a plunging back I simply adored. And that combined with her gorgeous hair + makeup by DB Studio gave the whole thing such a stunning vintage style. When he got to see his bride for the first time that day, David was all smiles. And the glowy light that filled their portrait time afterwards was legitimately the stuff our dreams are made of. (When you’re a photographer you tend to have super nerdy, good light-themed dreams 😉

After a short and sweet ceremony, everyone headed downstairs to celebrate. The tables were filled with cascading white orchids, which was the perfect minimalistic complement to the decor of OE. And after dinner the party kicked off in the best of ways, with the amazing energy of the RW Williamson Band. The dance floor was packed, and guests took breaks from dancing to pop into the photo booth and munch on some cake which adorably featured the newlyweds’ pup Wally. At the end of the night, the newlyweds ran through a tunnel of white balloons before heading out to meet their guests at the after party.

Macy and David, we’ve adored every bit of your wedding journey and genuinely hope you to stick around the SBP fam for so many years to come. Thank you for the honor of documenting this incredibly sweet day, we hope you love these snaps every bit as much as we do.

Love + Laughs,

Sarah & Ben
