downtown tampa engagement session: macy + david

Happy Wednesday friends! Today is one of those days on the blogs that feels bit like Christmas morning, because we’re getting to share a downtown Tampa engagement session that we’ve been SO excited to post! Not only did these two roll up to their Tampa session with one of the cutest pups (who we are pretty sure is just a person in a Muppet-esque costume) but they understood the assignment PERFECTLY when it came to their outfit choices. All of that combined with the stunning hair and makeup by DB Studio and the sweetness these two so easily share made for a pretty epic afternoon.

We met up on the steps of Le Meridien, and then explored some of our favorite little nearby nooks before the two of them grabbed an outfit change and continued our downtown Tampa adventure. There are a lot of highlights of this downtown Tampa engagement session for us (the light, the laughter, the conversation). But the highlightiest of them all definitely has to be Macy’s seriously epic satin gown. She was legitimately glowing and seemingly floated over the busy streets in this impeccably fitted masterpiece. It was pretty easy to see why David (who looked oh so dapper as well) looked at her the way he did.

Macy and David, we couldn’t be more excited for your Oxford Exchange wedding day next year! We know it is going to be every bit as amazing as this picture perfect afternoon.

Love + Laughs,

Sarah & Ben

Macy wore the most perfectly fitted gown, which had a plunging back I simply adored. And that combined with her gorgeous hair + makeup by DB Studio gave the whole thing such a stunning vintage style. When he got to see his bride for the first time that day, David was all smiles. And the glowy light that filled their portrait time afterwards was legitimately the stuff our dreams are made of. (When you’re a photographer you tend to have super nerdy, good light-themed dreams […]
