my coo

I mentioned in our last post about our trip that there was something SO beyond epic that happened in Scotland it had to be it’s own post. Well friends, here is that post. But in order for you to understand it completely I think you need a little back story about my love of heilan coos. What is a heilan coo you may ask? Well, if you are from America you will probably know it best as a highland cow. Or, you may not have heard of these fuzzy creatures at all. Let me introduce you to the cutest thing EVER:

That’s right. That is a real, live thing. Not a stuffed animal or animatronic theme park creature. That actually EXISTS in our world. It is a cow with the most stylish of bangs and the furriest of fur. What is not to LOVE?! When I saw my very first heilan coo (which is what you call them if you are authentically Scottish) I was instantly smitten, and ever since then it has become a well known fact in my family that I am absolutely obsessed. So when we were driving on this vacation, and happened to come across a field of them we of course had to stop. And what happened next? It was LIFE CHANGING. And something that is life changing (even if it is captured in the most embarrassing of videos where you pretty much freak out and act like a crazy) deserves to be shared <3

I give you my meeting with Charley the Heilan Coo . . .

And a few pictures Ben took to document the occasion:

I MAY have gotten a little too excited when I found a coo hat later that day . . . .
