“To me, you are perfect”. Those five simple words hung from a tree that night, beneath the twinkling lights. They were there as toasts were made and cake was cut. They swayed gently in the wind as the first dance was shared. And they were the last thing seen at the end of the day. And though these words were simple, their meaning was most definitely not. They were there to let the world know, that day something so very special had happened. That day two people, with the fullest of hearts, promised to be each other’s perfect forever.

Meghan and Miles are married, and OH. What a wedding it was. It’s no secret (because we talk about it aaallll the time) how much we adore our couples and how much we love every single wedding we get to shoot. But every once in a while, a wedding day comes along that changes us. A wedding day that leaves our hearts so happy and recharges our creative souls in a way we didn’t even know we needed. A wedding that feels like everything a wedding should be about. This was one of those weddings.
Meghan was picked to be one of only about 20 bloggers for Weddingbee.com, and we had a blast reading all about their planning process over the past year. From her and Miles making all of the wood signs and table numbers, to their quest to find the perfect vintage sofas, we were along for the ride. So when the day finally came to see it all come together, we couldn’t have been more excited. The day was GORGEOUS, and aside from a super quick rain shower, there could not have been a better day for a completely outdoor reception. We loved that all of their guests sat at one huge table, it truly made the day feel like a joining of families. Miles made the most amazing invitations (which were a legit BOOK) and were just about the cutest things we have ever seen. The reception was amazing, and felt like something out of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. And from the quirky wood signs and moss to the twinkling lights and candles, every detail went together flawlessly.
