The doors to the chapel swung open, and “At Last” began to echo through the rafters. And before she started to walk down the aisle, the bride stood there in the doorway as the first few lines were sung. In a way that made you realize she was truly savoring the moment they had both waited for, and a way that made his smile grow bigger in anticipation. And there they stood, for what was probably only seconds but what seemed like much longer, looking at each other for the first time that day with excitement in their eyes. Because in just a moment she would take her first few steps toward him, and their next adventure would officially begin . . . .

Ashley and Johnathan are married! They had a picture perfect wedding day at one of our most favorite wedding venues out there, Cross Creek Ranch. Not only is Cross Creek just about one of the most picturesque places ever, but their team is also made up of some of the sweetest ladies who do such a wonderful job of keeping the day running smoothly. That combined with Ashley, Johnathan, and their wonderful family and friends made for a seriously amazing day!
Sarah literally did a happy dance when we first saw Ashley’s dress, because it not only had tons of beautiful lace detailing but also had long sleeves! It was pure, timeless perfection, and Ashley absolutely could not have looked more breathtaking. So much so, that everyone in attendance literally gasped as the horse and carriage pulled up to drop her off, which definitely goes down as one of the most goosebump-inducing moments in Sarah & Ben wedding history.
After Ashley changed into her sparkly Kate Spade Keds, her and Johnathan performed the most adorable first dance ever, which combined some romantic slow dancing with some other preeeetttty awesome moves like the sprinkler. After that, everyone feasted on the always delish food of Catered by Vesh, and hopped into the most adorable of photo booths (which the couple MADE. Like, with their own hands.) The entire day had a wonderfully intimate feel, and we loved documenting every minute of it!
Ashley + John, thank you so much for inviting us to your best day ever! We loved getting to spend not just one but two days with you guys over the course of your wedding week, and are so excited for this next chapter for you both!
