Well, it’s Monday. And nothing cures a case of the Mondays like some gorgeous wedding goodness, which is why we are bringing you Part II of Amanda and Kevin’s amazing vintage circus wedding today!
If you missed Part I you can catch up here, we last left off with Amanda going to change into the second of her fab BHLDN dresses. We loved the sheer sleeves and the gorgeous flower details, which was topped only by the sparkly buttons up the back. It was PERFECTION. And then, after a “second first-look” in her new dress, Kevin led Amanda into the now empty chapel for their first dance. We absolutely adored this idea of doing the first dance alone. The two of them did the sweetest choreographed dance all for themselves. Not because anyone was watching, or because it was time in the reception schedule. They just danced. And laughed. And lived in a moment just for the two of them, which gave it so so much meaning. After dancing and a few more pictures they headed off to their circusy reception, which was just AHHH!
There were so many DIY paper details we loved, table number centerpieces complete with colorful bunting, and jars of candy scattered among the tables. They opted to mix all different table types, and the variation of feasting tables mixed with the normal round ones gave the space such a homey feel. All of the tables were set with mis-matched china and the sweetest little napkin rings, and of course the day wouldn’t have been complete without a few boxes of animal crackers! There were SO many other details that made this day absolutely over-the-top-to-die-for-amazing (like the fact that they a had HUGE carousel horse welcoming guests to the space and a real live juggler) but the real thing that made this day so insanely special was the love that these two clearly have for each other. It was something more in style than even the most unique of wedding details, and we felt beyond honored to be the ones to document it.
Amanda and Kevin, we hope it goes without saying that we just love you two to bits. Thank you for absolutely everything. For being so sweet to us through this whole process, for trusting us to capture your best day ever, and for putting together such a stylish day in such an incredibly humble way. We had SO much fun with you both and hope you love these every bit as much as we loved taking them!
Love + Laughs,
