You could say he loved her because of the dance lessons he took in order to make their first dance just perfect. Or because of the smile he wore when he first saw her that day, and for every minute that came after it.

And you could say she loved him because of the way she teared up as speeches were given about his character and heart that night. Or because of how excited she got each time he leaned in to give her a kiss.

But all of these things aside, it was so obvious that these two loved each other not because of anything they said or did, but because of how the day felt. It wasn’t a day about schedules or details, or color palettes or centerpieces. It was simply a day about love, and the promise they were so excited to make to one another. The promise of each of their forevers . . . . .

Emily and Steven are married! We traveled up to Saint Augustine for their beautiful wedding day at the White Room rooftop and loft. The girls all got ready at the sweetest little Airbnb out on the beach, and after getting ready themselves the guys all came over so that Steven could get his first glimpse of his bride. We couldn’t have been any more obsessed with their darling dog Leroy, who was LEGITIMATELY Charlotte’s long lost twin! He looked absolutely adorable in his “Best Dog” bandana, and when the three of them got together for their family portraits our dog-loving hearts just exploded. It was just TOO sweet.

Emily’s wedding dress was so perfectly fit to her figure and personality, and had the most fun slit up the leg that showed off some seriously gorgeous shoes. And after some quick portraits at the Lightner Museum those shoes walked her down the aisle on the arm of her dad (who also performed the sweetly customized ceremony). Later in the night, after guests had dined on some delicious food (we’re STILL thinking about that paella!) everyone partied on the rooftop beneath the string lights as they took in the view of downtown.

Emily and Steven, thank you so much for the honor of documenting your best day ever! We loved getting to be a part of it and couldn’t have had more fun with you both!
