His eyes welled up when he saw her. And just like his heart had over the years, they begin to fill as she drew closer. Until his bride finally stood there at the front of the aisle, ready to take his arm. And there, with teary eyes that now overflowed with love for her, just as his heart did that day, he helped her up onto the altar to begin the rest of their forever . . .

Kate + Ricky are married! They had a timeless and classic ceremony at Sacred Heart in downtown Tampa followed by a modern reception at the Tampa Museum of Art. It was a perfect mixing of both old and new, and we loved how perfectly the day flowed! Kate’s something blue was the most gorgeous sparkly pair of Badgley Mischka heels you ever did see, and we loved all of the small details like her floral belt and dainty earrings. The bridesmaids wore dresses with lace-trimmed backs and a perfect little cutout, and the navy of their dresses popped perfectly against Kate’s bridal ensemble.
We absolutely adored getting to watch Ricky see Kate for the first time that day, and think his reaction *may* just be one of the best ones ever. Everything about the moment she walked down the aisle to him was so heart-felt and genuine that it was hard not to well-up on the other side of our lenses. (A battle Sarah just may have lost.) After the ceremony we were spoiled with tons of time for pictures, getting to make stops at favorites like Le Meridien as well as UT and the balcony of the museum. Their entire bridal party was so much fun to spend the day with, so it was no surprise that when it came time to party the night felt like the best celebration ever!
Kate + Ricky, thank you for yet another wonderful day! We absolutely adored getting to be the ones to document your best day ever, and we wish we could do it all over again!
