st. petersburg women’s club wedding: brenna & jez

They had put so much of themselves into every aspect of the day, from the food that was served to the words that were spoken, to the fact that he helped put out the chairs that morning before getting dressed. This was not merely just a wedding or a party to the two of them, but a day that represented so much of the journey they had gone on to get here. And even more than that, the adventure that would begin once it was done. And as the two of them stood hand in hand later that day, speaking their vows as the warm glow of the sun wrapped around them, it was impossible not to feel the warmth. From the sun, from their smiles, and most noticeably from their love . . . .

Brenna and Jez are married! The two of them had a gorgeous waterfront ceremony at the St. Pete Women’s Club, followed by a reception in a string light filled ballroom. Brenna looked absolutely radiant, and after putting on the most perfect Betsy Johnson heels (that had both sparkles AND bows!) she walked out to meet Jez for a super sweet first look. The bridesmaids carried floral filled lanterns down the aisle, which were such a fun twist on traditional bouquets, and when it came time for Brenna and Jez to say their vows their were adorably personalized, and everyone in attendance couldn’t help but laugh as they included mention of their menagerie of animals at home.

The golden hour couldn’t have been more perfect that evening, with a light breeze and the softest light, which allowed for us to go exploring on the most charming little bridge. The entire scene reminded us of one of our favorite spots in Paris, it was just so romantic with the little lamp posts lining the bridge. After dinner and some toasts, the Mighty Mongo band kicked the party off with some seriously awesome tunes, and the newlyweds celebrated with all of their favorite faces!

Brenna and Jez, we couldn’t have loved this day with you guys any more or thank you guys enough for allowing us to be a part of it!
