st. augustine engagement: jaela + robert

Robert grabbed his guitar, and began to play. His fingers plucked out the tune as he sang “hush little baby, don’t say a word. . . “. It was a song he had sung to her before, but in all the times past when he got to the part about a diamond ring he would always stop. That night, however, he kept going. And as the words came out of his mouth it was obvious something was a little bit different. That was the night that he and Jaela became engaged.

The two of them decided to do their engagement session in St. Augustine, which made our hearts so happy because we are not only proud Flagler College alums but also hadn’t been back to go exploring in a few years. We had the most amazing time revisiting some old favorite places as well as discovering new ones, and were spoiled with the most perfect afternoon and evening for shooting. And these two were just about the easiest to photograph, giggling together and cuddling like professional models (which we are still convinced they may have been in a past life ; )

Jaela and Robert, we had an absolute blast with you guys and can’t thank you enough for the chance to explore our ol’ stopping grounds! Hope you love this mini peek into our wonderful afternoon as much as we loved putting it together!
