rusty pelican wedding: stephanie + nathan

We didn’t know where their travels would take them, or what adventures would go in their photo albums. We just knew both of their faces would fill up the pages and that their voices would later tell the stories together. And we didn’t know the continents they would set foot on or the paths they would take, but we knew that their hands would always be entwined as they walked each step. And that night, as he twirled her around the room filled with the signs of cities they couldn’t wait to make new memories in, we didn’t know which one they would visit first. We just knew they would visit each one together. . . .

Stephanie and Nate are married! The two of them had such a sweet wedding ceremony at the always adorable Andrews Memorial Chapel followed by an amazing reception at the Rusty Pelican. We had so many favorite moments of this day, but if we had to pick just one it would be the moment right after their ceremony, when the two of them came running out through the double doors of the chapel through a tunnel of flower petals. It felt like something out of the best of rom-coms and couldn’t have been more perfect!

The palette of the day couldn’t have been more fitting for the season (or the chilly weather!), with the bridesmaids wearing floor length wine-hued gowns. They popped beautifully against the navy suits of the groomsman, and Stephanie looked absolutely radiant in her Maggie Sottero gown which she paired with champagne accents (including the most amazing fur wrap to help her brave the chilly temps!)

When it was time to party, guests entered a reception filled with a mix of floral centerpieces and the most darling travel themed details all around the room. From the non-traditional seating chart (which were individual boarding passes for each guest) to the luggage tag place cards to the favors found in “Baggage Claim”, every detail of the day was thought out and beautifully executed.

Stephanie and Nate, thank you for such an amazing day, and for braving the cold with smiles! We loved every minute of your best day ever and couldn’t have been happier to be a part of it!

Love + Laughs,

Sarah & Ben
