His eyes began to well with tears before she had even taken a step towards him. Tears of love for his bride, and of excitement for the day that lay ahead, and of compete and utter happiness that he was finally marrying his best friend. It’s strange how so many feelings can be encapsulated in one single tear. And stranger so how with just one glance, she knew every feeling he held inside. How she not only understood his feelings, but shared each one.
And I guess, in the simplest definition, that’s what it means to have a soulmate. To know a person’s heart so deeply, that you can speak without needing a single word . . . .

Sarah and Danny are married! They had a traditional ceremony at St. Mina St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church followed by a waterfront reception at the Rusty Pelican. We loved getting to witness so many wedding traditions that were brand new to us during there ceremony (seriously, can EVERY wedding involve sparkly crowns?!) and thought it was so sweet that it included so many physical representations of the two of them becoming one. We also can’t skip over talking their adorable and ever-so-sweet first look, which was full of teary eyes all around (even from a couple of photographers you may know).
The reception was decked out with a mix of high and low floral centerpieces, and the most amazing CLEAR chivari chairs which we loved. The ceiling was draped in white, which added to the wintery feel of the room, and everyone was given a snowflake to take home as a reminder of the day. The couple also surprised guests with a caricature artist during the reception, which was a fun twist on a traditional photo booth.
Sarah + Danny, it was an honor to document your best day ever and we are so excited for everything that is to come for you guys! Hope you love this peek into a truly amazing day.
