Oh friends, have we got an engagement session to share with you today! We got together with Whitney and Dillon in a full on legit FOREST last week and are just obsessed with every single moment we got to capture. The two of them were so much fun to shoot, absolutely up for anything (with Whitney off-roading in heels Sarah couldn’t walk in on a normal day) and laughing together constantly in a way that had us smiling ear-to-ear the entire time. We kept joking with them all throughout the shoot that everything they did looked like the poster for the most romantic of girly movies (you know the one. . . where Nicholas Sparks writes about the city girl meeting the farm boy) because everything was just TOO picturesque! We adored the contrast of Whitney’s lace-detailed dress with the woodsy tones all around them, and how easily Dillon swept her up into his arms. From start to finish (which ended with the most perfect glowy light) it was an absolute joy to shoot.
Whitney and Dillon, thank you SO much not just for a wonderful afternoon but for all your Alaska travel tips as well! We had so much fun with you guys and are beyond excited to get to do it all over again on your big day!
