There is a light within her. It shines through her eyes and radiates from her smile in a way that makes you feel warmer just by being in her presence. It illuminates everything around her, but most importantly, it illuminates him . . . .

And there is a strength within him. He, the one that fills the heart of the girl who seems to fill everyone else’s. Who brings happiness to her with a mix of humor and sweetness and is so firmly rooted in his love . . .

And that day, they stood hand in hand and heart in heart, promising to grow together just like the flowers that swayed in the wind all around them. She would be the light and he would be the strength, and together they would grow a love so great it would fill the world around them with awe . . . . .

Dacie and Dennis are married! They had one serious stunner of a wedding day at the bride’s family home, where they said their vows and celebrated with friends along the waterfront. From the moment we pulled up to the house (which just so happened to be the most charming place you ever did see) to the very end of the night when everyone danced barefoot under the string lights, every bit of this day was just perfection. Dacie wore a simple lace detailed dress and a crown of flowers in her hair, and carried a colorful bouquet accented with clementines. (Which may just be the coolest bouquet we’ve ever seen). Dennis kept his look timeless with a perfectly fitted navy jacket, and added some fun accents with polka dots on his socks and tie. After getting ready the couple shared a sweet first look, and then said their vows beneath a floral-filled trellis, with the family dog wandering over to plop down under the altar for a front-row seat. (It seriously took everything from our fur-baby loving hearts not to just cry from the cuteness of it all!)

Dacie hand painted all of the stationary found throughout the day, from the stunning invitation suite to the ceremony programs, with the watercolors beautifully reflecting the color palette of the gardens around the property. The lawn of the house was filled with feasting tables decorated with a mix of fruit and floral centerpieces, and each one was lined with a different patterned fabric to give it a fun color pop. In lieu of a traditional plated meal, guests visited themed stations and dined on comfort foods like pulled pork sandwiches and grilled corn on the cob (can we just talk about how awesome this corn station was?!)

Dacie and Dennis, there are no words to describe just how much we adored this day with you both. After spending the day with your family it is so easy to see why you guys are both as sweet and kind as you are, and we feel truly humbled to have documented every minute of this perfect day.
