We stopped for a minute in the middle of their portraits. Not because there was anything wrong or because the light wasn’t just perfect. But because we were simply watching them. And as they stood laughing together and whispering back and forth, it was so very apparent that they each hadn’t just married their soul mate, but also their best friend. Because they laugh together constantly. In the way that you do with your oldest and dearest friend. And lucky for them they each get to spend the rest of forever with that friend, who also happens to be the person who fills their heart most . . . .

Jackson and Beth are married! They had one serious stunner of a wedding day at the ever so lovely Powell Crosley Estate in Sarasota. We adored the mixed colors and textures found throughout the day, from the sparkliness of the sequins to the soft touches of blush, and it all popped perfectly against the timeless architecture of the venue. After a ceremony with a mix of traditions from each of their families, the two of them shared a first dance beneath the string lights and then headed inside for dinner with their closest family and friends.
From the very beginning of chatting with the two of them about their big day plans, it was obvious that the thing that was most important to both of them was simply marrying the other. They weren’t obsessing over details or timelines, or worrying about everything coming together. This laid back vibe flowed right into their wedding day, and truly allowed them to enjoy what the day was about. Not to say that there weren’t SO many fun touches throughout their wedding, from the mini ice cream bar guests got to visit after dinner to the unique cufflinks Jackson wore to honor his love of cars. And Beth looked just breathtaking in her Mori Lee wedding gown. But quite simply, it was a day focused on love.
