The last few steps she took closed any distance left between them, and with a tap of the shoulder he turned around to see her for the first time that day. And in an instant it was as if they were the only two people on the planet, seeing nothing but each other. There were smiles bigger than either of them had ever worn, and tears (which he oh so sweetly wiped from her cheeks). But mostly there were just unspoken words, with them saying everything they needed to with the longest of embraces and gazes that spoke more than any sentence ever could . . . .

Brittany and Sam are married! And oh goodness friends, what a day this was. From the gorgeous palette (which took it’s inspiration from the colors naturally found in succulents) to the unique orientation of their ceremony to the mixed bridesmaid dresses and simple florals – everything about this day was just perfection. Brittany put on a stunning fitted gown before heading out to meet Sam for their first look, a moment that was so sweet we just about teared up right along with them. F’REAL. There is just something so sweet about how easily these two love each other, and getting to document that kind of love is just so incredibly heart filling.
We always love shooting at the Palmetto Riverside Bed & Breakfast, but this time felt extra special because Brittany and Sam utilized the space in a way we had never seen. This made the gorgeous moss-filled tree on the property the backdrop for their vows, and it couldn’t have felt any more romantic.After the ceremony guests headed to the reception, where one seriously epic party kicked off. We loved the simple centerpieces, including succulents which Brittany and her mom grew themselves (we know, right?!) and the greenery filled bar that tied it all together. Guests dined on southern comfort food including barbecue pulled pork and mashed potatoes, which was the perfect fuel for a night on the packed dance floor!
Brittany and Sam, being a part of your wedding journey has been so much fun from our very first coffee date. We just loved being the ones who got to save every one of these moments for you guys, and most definitely hope you let us know next time you’re down this way!
