They held each other close as they moved slowly across the dance floor. At some parts, they mouthed the words of the song together between smiles and laughs, in the way that you would with your very best friend. And at other parts they leaned in close, sometimes for a kiss and sometimes just because of the giddy excitement, like you do with the person you love most in the world. For them, there isn’t a line where best friend ends and soulmate begins. They are plain and simply each other’s everything, and watching the two of them through every bit of that day it was so very easy to see why . . . .

Cara and Troy are married! They had the sweetest wedding at the Palmetto Riverside Bed & Breakfast, surrounded by their family, friends, and the most perfect fall weather. The two of them wrote their own vows in the most adorable little books, which they exchanged to read privately before their outdoor ceremony under the canopy of moss-filled trees. Cara looked radiant in an Augusta Jones gown, which she paired with sparkly blush sandals and beautifully timeless details. She carried a bouquet down the aisle that was absolutely perfect for the waterside setting, and was preceded by her bridesmaids who rocked some navy dresses. We loved every bit of their ceremony, from their vows to their constant smiles, but our favorite touch was the fact that the entire thing was conducted by Troy’s dad. How sweet is that?!

The reception was a beautiful garden party, beneath the warmth of the string lights and the glow of the full moon. And after the formal events of the evening and dinner, guests dined on mini cupcakes and a late night snack of pizza between dances. It was such an amazing party, and was the perfect representation of the fun-loving couple at the center of it all!

Cara and Troy, we had such a fun day with you guys and couldn’t have been more thankful to be a part of it! Hope you had the most amazing time in the Keys, and that you love these as much as we loved capturing them.
