He didn’t like the attention. He told me that as he stood there, with his back turned to his family and friends, with all of their eyes on him. Waiting to see his reaction, whether or not there would be tears, and what they would each say to the other. But then she entered the room, and it seemed with each step she took toward him he grew less and less aware of anyone else’s presence. Until finally she was there, tapping him on the shoulder, and letting him turn around to see her. Only her. Because in that moment it seemed that neither of them realized anyone else was there or that any other eyes were on them. It was simply a moment, just like the day it was part of, that was theirs . . . .

Michael + Tyrette are married! The two of them started the day with a first look surrounded by their parents and bridal party, before some portraits and the signing of their ketubah. Tyrette looked absolutely stunning in her dress, which had these lovely and delicate beaded straps, and Michael may or may not have been called James Bond just a feeeew times, because he was looking pretty dapper himself! They had a traditional Jewish ceremony at The Museum of Fine Arts in St. Pete in the ever-so-gorgeous Marley Room. We loved their chuppah set-up with the arrangements of flowers on each side, and how their parents and siblings stood up with them through the entire ceremony.
The reception soundtrack was provided by the insanely talented Phase 5 band, and Olympia Catering provided delish food as always. This reception was definitely a full-on party, with some traditional dances like the Hora and (our personal fave!) the Mizinke thrown in for good measure, and we absolutely loved documenting every minute of it!
Michael + Tyrette, thank you for a wonderful day! Hope you enjoy a few of our favorites : )
