They poured sand. But that day this was no ordinary sand, to them it was so much more. It was their past and their future, everything that had brought them here and everything that was to come. Each granule representing a laugh or a smile, a cherished memory, or an obstacle they had faced together. That sand was them. And as they poured it that day, making sure each grain mixed with the next, they made a promise that they would pour all of themselves into their love for the rest of their days.

Katie and Chris are married! After a sweet first look at the Vinoy they had a gorgeous ceremony and reception at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Pete. Katie got her gorgeous dress at Kleinfeld’s in NYC (any Say Yes to the Dress fans out there?!) and topped off her look with a stunning pair of Jimmy Choo’s and some classic jewelry. She was absolutely breathtaking, and Chris looked so insanely proud to have her on his arm all day.

There were a ton of details about this day that we adored. The cocktail hour was fabulously decorated and included all of these different lounge areas and draping, giving the entire thing a very cozy feel. And when guests went upstairs to the reception they were greeted with rich colors (mostly purple!) and bling. If you know absolutely anything about me you know that I am OBSESSED with things of the purple and sparkly varieties so this was HEAVEN. From the card box to the table numbers to the candy bar there were sparkles and purple everywhere!
