live oak wedding: jess + frank

Light fell through the skylights of the ceiling and trickled onto spots on the floor, illuminating the altar where they stood. There, beneath the rafters of the chapel, a boy who saved his biggest smiles for the most special of occasions married a girl who wore her’s on her sleeve. There was laughter as moments from his childhood were recounted, and sweet smiles as their vows were spoken. And there was not a person in attendance who couldn’t feel the warmth of the love they shared that day in that charming little chapel in the woods . . . .

Jess and Frank are married! They had a lovely wedding day in Northern Florida at the ridiculously picturesque Camp Weed, which we felt so very lucky to document. We loved so many details of this day, from Jessica’s Anthropologie flats to the adorable Zara flower girl dresses, and the fact that every inch of this venue is like something straight out of a storybook. Can we just talk about this chapel?! In five years we have never seen a more picturesque place for a couple to get married.

The details were kept very natural and true to the forest all around them, with accents of greenery and flowers throughout, and the two of them opted to skip a traditional bridal party. All in all this was a day that felt simple in the best way, solely about the two of them and the promise they were making, and we can think of no better wedding to be the very last one to take place at Camp Weed.

Jess and Frank, thank you both so much for not only inviting us into your best day ever but for being so incredibly sweet and welcoming. We just loved spending this day by your sides and hope you adore this mini peek as much as we do!
