She wore a smile that he had been bringing to her face for so many years, and his eyes fixated on her like they did the very first time he saw her. Not because she was in her wedding dress or because she was now his wife, but because that’s just the way he sees her. Every time. They danced to a song about being best friends, and laughed together in the most genuine of ways. And from the first look to the last dance, a happiness emanated so deeply from their hearts, it was impossible not to feel it’s warmth . . .

Rebecca and Stephen are married! And now is normally the time where we get to how beautiful the venue was (because it WAS) and how awesome all of the details were (because they WERE), but I feel it wouldn’t be right to to not first talk about the love these two have for each other. Because really, that’s what this day was about. This was our very first time getting these two in front of our cameras, and about two minutes into their first look we knew that their love was something special. They laugh together like it’s still their first date, and are naturally sweet in a way that is so beautiful on it’s own we really didn’t have to do much of anything. The two of them together? It just works. PERFECTLY. And as if we didn’t feel spoiled enough getting to shoot with them, the setting of their wedding (the ever-so-stunning Highland Manor) was just ridiculously picturesque. We loved all of the vintage furniture and charm of the house, and it truly made the perfect backdrop for their big day. Rebecca is just about one of the craftiest people you will ever meet, and made so many of the details at their reception. From the adorable dinosaur place cards to their guest book quilt pieces, there were little things throughout the day that uniquely made it theirs. Rebecca + Stephen, from the very start of your day we felt like the closest of friends. Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your dino-mite (see what we did there?!) wedding day.
