The room grew silent as she peeled back the corner of the envelope, and took out the card it held inside. And as she began to read the words he had penned her eyes began to glisten. Her smile grew wider with each syllable and she reached up to wipe a tear as she got to the place where he had signed.

His words were another line in the story they had been writing for years, and the end of that note was the beginning of the next chapter they would start the day. It’s title? The Rest of Forever . . . . .

Katie and Bill are married! They traveled all the way from Pittsburgh for a waterfront destination wedding on St. Pete Beach, and we would say that the perfect day they were blessed with was most definitely worth the trip! All of the events of the day took place at the always lovely Grand Plaza Beachfront Resort, and after a sweet and intimate beach ceremony they headed up to the top of the hotel for a reception overlooking the water. Katie wore the most stunningly classic Justin Alexander dress, which had a gorgeous neckline and amazing lace details. It was PERFECT. Bill and his groomsman wore light colored suits (to go with the beachy flow of the day) and the bridesmaid dresses had the most lovely back detailing ever! We just adored how all of the different looks came together to create a perfectly cohesive feel to the day.

We had a ton of favorite moments from the day, from their sweet first dance to their smiley walk back up the aisle, but our favorite moment came just before we were about to wrap up their portraits on the beach. We were standing on the water’s edge, looking at the incredible sunset, when all of a sudden we saw a dolphin do a legit FLIP out of the water. And then another, and another, until there was a whole group of dolphins jumping and playing straight out from where we were. So we stopped posing them for a minute and just let them stop and enjoy what was seriously a once in a lifetime moment. And then Sarah may have got a little teary-eyed, because in that moment it seemed like the whole world was celebrating for these two.

Katie and Bill, we have absolutely loved being a part of your entire planning process  and were beyond humbled to be invited into your best day ever! We hope you love this peek into your wedding day as much as we loved putting it together!
