She fastened the buckle on her shoes, and made sure her earrings were perfectly in place. There, standing in her childhood bedroom, she was now officially a bride. And as she descended the wooden steps that day, as she had a thousand times before, it was obvious that this time something was a bit different. And it wasn’t just the white dress that brushed against the landing, or the excitement in the air. It was the thought that the next time she climbed those stairs she would have a different last name. The next time she would be his wife . . . .

Anna and Kevin are married! They had a beautiful wedding day in Clearwater at the Church of Ascension, followed by an amazing party of a reception at the Carlouel Yacht Club! From the first moment of the day when we arrived to find Anna’s wedding dress hanging in her childhood bedroom, to later in the afternoon when Kevin saw her for the first time, this day was full of so many amazing heart-filling moments. It also happened to be full of so many gorgeous details (can we just TALK about those stunning bridesmaid bouquets?!) and some of the sweetest humans on the planet, and all of that came together to create one incredible day we felt so very lucky to document.
We had SO many favorite moments of this day, but if we had to pick just one it would be that Anna and Kevin traveled to their reception by boat. It gave them a quiet moment to themselves before the party officially started, and their sweet pup Trout (who is just the cutest little frenchie you ever did see!) also made a wedding day cameo, happily accompanying her mom and dad on the open seas for a champagne toast. The entire thing, from their smiles and love for one another to Trout’s adorable squishy face was just TOO perfect.
Anna and Kevin, thank you so much for inviting us to be a part of such an amazing day! We loved spending every minute of it with you both, and hope you adore this sneak peek into it as much as we loved putting it together!
