They took the dance floor wearing the biggest smiles they had worn all day. Now after all the planning and organizing and decision making was the time they had been waiting for most of all. To simply be in a room with all of their favorite faces, ready to celebrate as husband and wife. And as they walked to the center of the dance floor her father’s voice filled the room as he began to sing the first song of the night. “Yeah, if you give me just one night, to meet you underneath the moonlight . . . “

Sara and Thomas are married! We traveled down to the always stunning Baker’s Ranch for their big day, where we absolutely never tire of shooting. It is such a storybook setting for couples to say their “I Do’s”, so we were worried when the forecast called for rain that would have moved everything inside. But at the last minute the skies dried up and these two got to have the outdoor ceremony they had dreamt about (which included Sara making her entrance down the dreamy lamp-lined path.) And speaking of the ceremony, Tom’s vows came with the sweetest surprise. In the middle of his vows he broke into a song from Beauty and the Beast (one of our FAVES), which was not only adorable but impressive.
Sara wore a gorgeous fit and flare gown, and after walking down the aisle in heels she changed into some sparkly Kate Spade’s meant for the dance floor. And let us just say, these shoes were very much needed because these two didn’t leave the dance floor all night! Their reception was an amazing party, with Sara’s dad taking the stage two times. At the end of the night the newlyweds ran out through a tunnel of sparklers, and the rest as they say, is history.
