savannah engagement session: emily + brent

Savannah holds a pretty special place in Emily and Brent’s hearts. It’s where they brought their pup Hazel home for the very first time. Where they got engaged at sunrise. Where they have tons of memories and good friends. In short, it’s a place where they lived and loved, and a place that is so very near and dear to them. After Skyping with them, and hearing just how much they loved the city, we knew there was no better place for their engagement session. So, a few weeks ago, the four of us met in Savannah and took a little walk down memory lane. We just adored seeing Savannah. And tasting it. (ESPECIALLY tasting it.) The food here was some of the best we’ve had EVER. In fact, we have already started trying to recreate the banana pudding we had on our last night in town, that so just happens to have been featured on a little show you may have heard of called Man vs. Food. It was a pretty big deal!

Savannah was full of so much southern charm and romance it is easy to see why these two love it so much. There were flowers everywhere, gorgeous architecture, and such a laid-back easy going feeling to the entire place. Pairing that with the fact that Emily and Brent are so incredibly perfect for one another made for an absolutely wonderful afternoon. We loved how easily they make each other laugh, and the playful romantic way they are with one another.

Emily and Brent (and Hazel too!) thank you so much for sharing Savannah with us. We LOVED spending the day with you guys, and can’t thank you enough for the insider’s tour! We can’t WAIT to see you guys in Maryland for the big day!
