Birchwood Wedding: Molly + Cole

You know those couples who make being around them feel easy? The kind of people who are always smiling, super chill, and somehow make everyone nearby feel happier too and calmer too? That’s Cole and Molly.

These two have been together since high school, which means their wedding day wasn’t just about becoming husband and wife — it was also a celebration of years of shared memories, growing up together, and building a life alongside one another. And honestly? You could feel that history in every part of the day.

Their morning apart getting ready led into a sweet first look at St. Raphael Catholic Church on Snell Isle, where Cole and Molly saw each other before the ceremony. The smiles started early and basically never stopped. From seeing each other for the first time that day to sneaking quiet moments during their ceremony, every minute at St. Raphael felt so very joyful.

Afterward, we headed to Straub Park for newlywed portraits, soaking up some downtown St. Pete charm before everyone gathered back together for the reception. And what a party they had!

Their Birchwood wedding reception brought together a giant group of family and friends who clearly adore these two. (Which makes complete sense, because Cole and Molly are exactly the kind of people you’d want in your corner.) One of our favorite details from the night had to be the photos displayed throughout the reception. Not only did they create an incredible backdrop installation, but each table also featured photos of the guests seated there. It was thoughtful, personal, and one of those details that quietly says, we’re really glad you’re here.

The dance floor stayed packed all night, thanks to a crowd that showed up fully ready to celebrate. Somewhere between all the dancing, guests grabbed gelato from Paciugo — and trust us when we say a Birchwood wedding with late-night gelato is pretty hard to beat.

At the end of the night Cole and Molly pulled off an Irish goodbye during the second-to-last song. No big production. No dramatic send-off. Just slipping away together sweetly into married life.

Cole and Molly, thank you for letting us be part of a day filled with so much happiness, friendship, and people who love you fiercely. We hope Italy is magical — and that married life is even better.

Love + Laughs,
Sarah & Ben
