Some wedding days feel elegant. Some feel emotional. And then there are wedding days like Lindsay and Vinny’s — the kind that feel deeply rooted in family, friendship, and years of shared history. This OE wedding was filled with all of that and so much more.
The day started with fun pajama photos at the Marriott Waterside before we headed to one of our favorite spots in Tampa: the always stunning Oxford Exchange. (An OE wedding really does have a way of making every part of the day feel a little extra magical.)
Here, Lindsay stepped into her wedding dress before sharing a sweet first look with Vinny in the library. What made the moment even better? Their immediate family gathered nearby to witness it all. It was the first of many moments throughout the day that reminded us this wedding wasn’t just about Lindsay and Vinny — it was also a celebration of the people who helped shape them.
Afterward, the bridal party wandered over to Plant Park for portraits before everyone made their way to St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Somehow, in 16 years of photographing weddings in Tampa, this was our first time there. And honestly? We feel so sad we’ve missed it. From the soaring wood beams inside to the oak-lined paths outside, every corner was beautiful. Surrounded by siblings, lifelong friends, and generations of family, Lindsay and Vinny exchanged vows beneath those incredible wood beams. The ceremony felt timeless in the very best way. Traditional, heartfelt, and filled with the kind of smiles that happen when everyone in the room genuinely loves the people standing at the altar.
Then it was time to celebrate.
Guests headed back for an OE wedding reception that managed to feel both classic and wildly fun at the same time. Oxford Exchange glowed with candlelight while speeches filled the room with equal parts laughter and happy tears.
Lindsay’s dad shared stories and words of wisdom. The best man celebrated years of friendship and all the moments that brought Lindsay and Vinny here. Then Lindsay’s older sister, serving as maid of honor, wrapped things up with a speech that had laughter filling the room.
And throughout it all, one thing became impossible to miss: these two are deeply loved. Their siblings, friends, and family showed up with the kind of energy that is palpable. The kind that reminds you wedding days aren’t only about two people getting married. They’re also about decades of relationships, inside jokes, traditions, and the people who have cheered you on all along.
By the end of the night, our cheeks hurt from smiling and our hearts felt so very full — which feels like such a gift that we get to call this our job.
Lindsay and Vinny, have the best time in Italy! We adored every second of this day with you two. Thank you for trusting us to capture such a joyful chapter of your story.
