They had seen each other already that day. In a private moment for just the two of them, he had held her close and whispered words meant only for her ears, and the two of them had exhaled a deep breath as the nerves of the day melted away.
But this second time, this was different. Now she was on her father’s arm and was walking to become his wife. They were finally getting married. And though he had smiled earlier in the day, now he smiled wider. And though she had been happy before, now her eyes filled with the happiest of tears. This was the moment that had been so many years in the making, and it was finally here . . . .

Kara and Ron are married! The two of them had a beautifully sunny wedding day at the Longboat Key Club, that included a greenery filled outdoor ceremony and an amazing party of a reception. Kara looked radiant in a fitted gown and timeless details that included her mother’s veil, and after spending the morning getting ready with all of her girls she met Ron for a first look before the two of them headed off to say their “I-Do’s”. And as much as we loved the first time these two got to see each other that day, the second time as Kara came down the aisle was even better. There were so many giant smiles and happy tears that it was hard not to shed a few ourselves as Kara came down the aisle on her dad’s arm.
We loved the classic feel of everything about this day, from the neutral bridesmaid’s dresses to the clean palette of the invitation suite. The reception was warmly lit, with a mix of high and low centerpieces filling the tables and an amazingly detailed cake from Cakes by Ron stealing the attention of guests. We seriously couldn’t believe that the white flowers flowing down it’s side weren’t real. Guests had an amazing time dancing, singing along with the band, and cheering for Kara as she took to the stage for a performance that maaaaaay be one of our favorite reception memories to date. At the end of the night, everyone sent the bride and groom off in a bubble-filled tunnel and the newlyweds headed off to a tropical honeymoon in Bora Bora.
Kara and Ronnie, thank you for such a wonderful day! We felt so honored that you entrusted us with capturing it and we couldn’t have had more fun spending it by your side’s.
