Being invited into a couple’s wedding experience is oh so special, and humbling, and enough to make even the manliest of eyes teary sometimes (ahem, Ben). But when a couple returns and invites us into the next milestone in their lives, to document all the excitement that comes along with becoming a family of three (and maybe even rub the bump just once or twice…ahem, Sarah) there are truly no words. We had the privilege of documenting all the excitement that came along with being engaged at Shannon + Mike’s awesome firefighter themed engagement, then spent their amazing Tampa wedding day by their side’s, so getting to get together with them AGAIN to celebrate their growing family was icing on an already oh-so-amazing cake!
We met the two of them at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor, where we had so much fun catching up on everything that welcoming a little lady into the world brings. Being with the two of them instantly felt like reconnecting with old friends, and only made us all the more thankful for the amazing relationships we’re lucky to have with each of our couples. Not to mention that Shannon is just about the most stunning mom-to-be ever (seriously, the only thing that has changed during pregnancy is the addition of one very adorable bump!) and the two of them once again were so sweet and easy in front of the camera. Not to mention this session ended in the most epic of ways, when what was a bit of a gray day ended with the most glorious (and PINK!) sunset. It was like the sky was celebrating right along with them ; )
Shannon and Mike, we just adore you two to bits and couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter to begin. Kaylee is going to be the luckiest girl in the world to have such amazing parents and we can’t WAIT to meet her!
