She appeared at the end of the aisle, and suddenly the sounds that had been echoing off the granite and marble became hushed. She was glowing in a way that had silenced the room. And as the music played and she walked the path between the pews, all of the eyes in the church were focused on her, while her’s were locked solely on him. Him, whose own eyes overflowed with so much love and happiness they couldn’t help but shed a tear or two. And after a moment that seemed to stand still, she reached the altar and their story officially began . . . .

Michelle and Andy are married! They had a traditional evening ceremony at Sacred Heart (where we seriously never tire of shooting, is there ANYTHING more timeless?!) before an equally classic reception at the stunning Floridan Palace Hotel. We basically had our jaws on the floor from the time we walked into the reception, which was a mix of elegant glamour and rustic touches (can we just talk about those flower-filled farm tables?!) and was one of the most epic parties we’ve been to. Like, EVER. From the live band to the late night ouzo shots (in honor of Andy’s Greek heritage) to the most epic Hora Loca we’ve ever seen, this party definitely set the bar high for 2017. We mean, stilt walkers?! And did we mention the fact that it was also Andy’s birthday, so there was DOUBLE cake. That, friends, is just the best idea ever!
The colors for the day were kept simple and classic (which just so happens to be our favorite combination) with the bridesmaids in floor length gowns they tied different ways to give it a playful touch. Michelle looked absolutely radiant, which made it totally understandable that Andy got a little teary when he saw her at the end of the aisle, and her lace-sleeved dress couldn’t have fit her or the day more perfectly. But our most favorite part of it all, is that we got to keep on celebrating these two into the next day, when we got back together with the newlyweds for their portraits (which we can’t wait to share on Monday!) Stay tuned for Part II!
Michelle and Andy, we are SO beyond excited for everything the first year of marriage is going to bring your way! Hope New York is amazing (and delicious!)
