They sat between their siblings, just like they probably had on that first date to the movies over a decade ago. Only this night was so many years later, and their clothes happened to be just a little bit fancier. And those same siblings who served as their chaperones now raised champagne glasses and gave speeches, toasting the promises that had happened earlier that day. Singing the praises of a love so strong that it had survived all the years of growing up and the chaos of life. A love that was so very clearly, the forever kind . . . . . . .

April and Noah are officially Mr & Mrs! These two high school sweethearts brought it all back to where it started and had a beautiful ceremony at Admiral Farragut Academy in St. Petersburg. April chose to get ready at her childhood home (which gave us ALL the feels) before heading to school to meet Noah for a sweet first look in the courtyard of their alma mater. We couldn’t help but get a little misty eyed as we watched the two of them wander the campus for their portraits, thinking about all the times they had probably been hand-in-hand in some of these exact spots. (We mean REALLY. Do love stories get any more perfect?!) The two of them said their “I Do’s” on the lawn beneath a floral filled huppa, and then headed over to a waterfront reception at the Club at Treasure Island.
Their reception was beautifully filled with high and low florals and blue up-lighting that filled the space perfectly, and guests munched on cookies from the most delish little cookie bar (is there anything better than edible favors?! We think NOT.) The bridal party was kept small, and each of their siblings served as the other person’s Best Man/Maid of Honor, which we thought was the perfect symbol of the fact that their families were officially becoming one. All in all, it couldn’t have been a more perfect day for two people who couldn’t be any sweeter and we just loved each and every minute.
April and Noah, we just adore you two to bits and were so beyond honored to be the ones by your side on your best day ever! We always feel so incredibly special to be entrusted with a couple’s wedding memories, but knowing that this day was over a decade in the making made it all the more meaningful. Hope you love this sneak peek as much as we loved making it!
