The first phone date with Emily told us everything we needed to know to make us want to be a part of her and Andrew’s wedding day. The two of them have known each other since FIRST grade, had an ever so sweet surprise proposal in Chicago, and are getting married next year at one of our most favorite venues (the ridiculously stunning Powel Crosley Estate). So we felt more than excited when they chose us to document this chapter of their love story, and then felt ridiculously lucky when we met them and realized they were gorgeous to boot!
We wandered the streets of downtown Winter Park with their pup Jake, where the two of them easily slipped in and out of laughing together and then sharing more serene moments. And then after saying goodbye to Jake (and a quick stop at Winter Park High School) we finished at Rollins with a lakeside champagne toast! The golden light filtered perfectly through the trees, and paired with the stunning outfits these two chose to end the night with, the entire thing felt like the most romantic of dates (which was fitting because that day just so happened to be Emily’s birthday!)
Emily and Andrew, thank you so much for making our jobs so easy, for our VIP Rollins tour and for spending such a wonderful afternoon with us! We felt so special to get to spend a bit of Emily’s birthday with you guys, and hope that every bit of the love we witnessed between you two comes through in these favorites.
