When we first talked with Gloria, and she told us all about Marvin’s multi-part proposal (which just so happened to involve writing her a poem, singing her an original song, AND dancing to a surprise Mariachi band) we couldn’t help but be a little impressed. It left us so excited to meet the two of them and witness their epic love in person, and when the day finally came to do just that we were pumped! We drove up to Orlando through a legit monsoon and even though the weather was not quite as cooperative as we would have liked these two were just troopers. We donned our umbrellas, hopped from awning to awning, and even played a little in the rain. It was such a perfect representation of the happiness the two of them find in each other, because even though it rained our entire time together they were both smiling and laughing every minute. It was the best reminder that as long as you’re with the right person, everything in the world just feels right.
After spending most of their session at Rollins we headed downtown for some fun night shots and we loved the different moody feel to those images. Both parts of the day were so different and such a perfect representation of each of them.
Gloria and Marvin, thank you for being up for anything and for being such amazing sports about playing in the rain! We think it most definitely paid off!
