oxford exchange wedding: alexandra + kevin

There was just an easiness about the entire day. In the way that she didn’t worry about a single detail, and he didn’t falter as he tied his tie into the perfect knot. There was a sureness about it all, with no doubt that they were each exactly where they were supposed to be. It was simply a day for the two of them to stand before one another, ready to make official what their hearts had already decided long ago . . . . . .

Alexandra + Kevin tied the knot! Oxford Exchange weddings are always a favorite, and this one didn’t dissappoint. They had a sun-filled ceremony in the Shaw Library of Oxford Exchange, before a downstairs reception on the lovely marble floor. For anyone that has been to Oxford Exchange, you know that it is just about the most detail-filled, charming place ever. And when that came together with the style of these two our hearts basically exploded! Alex wore the most stunning, lace-trimmed dress (and can we just talk about her bow-tied Burberry wedges?!) And Kevin’s suit was perfectly fitted in that timeless, stepped-right-outta-Mad Men kind of way. Also, there were stunning geometrical gold details throughout the day. From the hanging pendants of the altar piece to the centerpieces and table numbers, every choice was perfect. Equally important, it all flowed seamlessly with the existing decor of OE.

We loved that this day was not only intimate, but that the two of them did so many things to make it truly their own. Kevin’s adorable son served as his best man. Additionally, they kept the rest of the bridal party small to only include immediate family. Dinner was kept casual because they chose stations instead of a traditional seated dinner. After, the dance floor opened and the party kicked off. Then dessert was served and the dancing began with some seriously epic moves. Then, there may have  been a special performance of “Uptown Funk” from the Best Man. It was a celebration that felt absolutely perfect for the two people at the center of at all. And we adored being a part of every minute of it.

Alex + Kevin, we hope you two are enjoying an amazing honeymoon! We had such a wonderful day with you. Oxford Exchange weddings are always a joy for us to shoot, and yours was most certainly no exception! Hope you love this mini peek as much as we do!
