Vinoy Wedding Day: JJ + Victoria

They laugh together. Like, A LOT. In the head tipped back, eyes scrunched up, deep belly laugh kind of way. The way reserved for the very best of friends and the most joyful of occasions. And to see them together, you know that it’s because they truly are best friends. The kind that naturally pour into each other, lift each other up, and have an energy so electric between them it’s impossible not to be drawn to it yourself. Together, they are pure magic. And on a picturesque day in December, they stood before all of their favorite faces and promised to keep making that magic for the rest of their days . . . .

Victoria + JJ are MARRIED! In a wedding celebration that couldn’t have been more perfect from start to finish, these two tied the knot at the Vinoy in St Pete. Victoria wore a stunning gown with a plunging neckline and a pattern every bit as fun as she is, which she paired with a classic white bouquet and timeless veil. When JJ (who looked oh so dapper himself) got to see her for the first time that day it was absolutely no wonder he gave her a full on twirl to check the whole thing (and his bride ; ) out. After some pre-ceremony portraits, the two of them said their vows in a floral-filled ceremony on the esplanade of the Vinoy, which was so picturesque it literally felt like something out of our favorite rom-coms. We loved how perfectly their self-written vows matched, both beautifully blending humor and sweetness in a way that had everyone laughing and grabbing their tissues. After the ceremony, the newlyweds ran back up the aisle through a tunnel of rose petals and then it was time to celebrate!

And WHAT a celebration it was – let’s talk about this Vinoy wedding reception! To simply call it a wedding reception would be the understatement of the century. This was THE. MOST. EPIC. dance party that we have seen in a long time! The Headliners had guests dancing from the moment they walked in the room – like literally, before the bride and groom had even been introduced – and the whole night had the most fun club vibe. As always, Florist Fire knocked it out of the park with all of the gorgeous florals and decor, and the classic black and white palette of the day was beautifully accented by what we’re pretty sure was like a million candles. The whole thing was just so dreamy and romantic.

Before we get to the good stuff, we simply can’t end this blog post without mentioning the love and kindness that overflowed from every single person at this celebration. The pictures you are about to see will show you how good this day looked (really guys…get ready for some serious eye candy), but we truly hope you leave with a sense of just how good the day FELT too. From the easy way these two love each other, to the love that overflowed from their family and friends, this celebration was about so much more than the pretty details that filled it. It was the kind of day that makes you really cherish the hearts of the people at the center of it.

To the new Mr. + Mrs. Linn (and your oh so sweet family and friends) we simply can’t thank you enough for having us! You two are pure sunshine, and documenting your love and laughter-filled Vinoy wedding day was oh so good for our souls. We know we told you already, but we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to end the year with. Hope you love these every bit as much as we do, and we already cannot wait for a double date the next time you’re in town!
