Their’s was a wedding day that never felt like it was about flowers or seating arrangements. The importance wasn’t placed on the where or the when or what their bridal party would wear as they walked down the aisle. Their’s was a wedding day that was simply about making promises to each other, and the marriage that would commence once those promises were made. So on a sunny day in April, surrounded by their closest family and friends, they did just that. And if you were lucky enough to be there to see her smile up at him as he spoke his vows, or watch as he twirled her on the dance floor later that night, you had no doubt in your mind that the marriage that commenced that day would be a truly great one . . .

Sarah and Jason are married! The two of them traveled down from New York for a perfect wedding day at The Orlo, which couldn’t have been a sweeter setting for their big day! Sarah looked radiant in a floral detailed gown, which she completed with some sparkly details and some meaningful accessories (we LOVED how she used a piece of her mom’s veil to make a hair comb). And after putting on a classic navy suit, Jason waited for her on the front porch of the venue for a first look, which was a moment that seemed to pause time. It was so sweet to watch Sarah’s smile grow as she walked towards him, and when they finally got to share their first hug of the day it was as if a giant exhale happened. The craziness of the morning prep washed away and it was suddenly simply a day about the two of them. Which brought on aaaaaalllll the tear-filled eyes for a certain photographer (let’s just say it isn’t Ben whose pregnancy hormones are out of control ; )
Jason opted to have his sisters as “best women” instead of a traditional best man, and since we are always about couples making their wedding day their own we couldn’t have loved it any more. And after some portrait time with their bridal party and a ketubah signing, the newlyweds met beneath the huppah for their marriage ceremony. It was a sweet touch to have so many friends and family contribute readings, which just added to the intimacy and meaning of the day, and at the end both of the newlyweds broke the glass which we had never seen before but loved!
Sarah and Jason, we’ve adored every bit of time we have gotten to spend with you two and couldn’t have been more thankful to spend your best day ever by your side’s! Hope the mini-moon was amazing and that you love these every bit as much as we loved taking them!
