There are so many ways we thought about starting this post. We *may* have toyed with the idea of telling you that we spent an afternoon with Cat + Mike monkeying around. And when that seemed too punny we thought about starting with a joke. (What do you get when you cross an elephant and a rhino?! El-if-I-know!) But instead we’ll just tell you that we had an amazing afternoon with the two of them at the zoo, which is a special place for them that they visit all the time.
There were so many adorable nooks and gorgeous greenery, which popped perfectly against the outfits the two of them chose. And we stumbled upon the cutest trio of pastel huts which were baaaasssicall put on this earth to be photographed with Cat’s colorful Lily Pulitzer dress and Mike’s matching bowtie. We also have to give these two major props that you absolutely can’t tell just how hot it was (which also may be cause for some kudos to their best man + maid of honor who were along for their session to keep them cool and dry). Due to the hours of the zoo we had to shoot much earlier in the day than usual, and these lovebirds were total pros about cuddling up in the 90 degree temps.
Cat + Mike, we had such a great time exploring with you both (and your entourage!) and can’t wait to see you all again!
