All of life’s milestones are an honor to document. From the excitement of being newly engaged, to the emotion of the wedding day, to growing their family for the first time, every one of a couple’s big life events bring us so much joy. But as amazing as all of these things are, there is simply nothing that fills my heart more than watching kiddos get ready to meet their new best friend. And this studio maternity session in Tampa with one of our favorite families was most definitely no exception.
Watching this soon-to-be big brother love on his mom’s belly and talk to baby was just the sweetest, and getting to take the final snaps of mom and dad with their first born brought on more feels than I was ready for. The next time I would see them (which is coming to the blog soon!) I knew they’d be a family of four, and their chapter as a trio would be closed. And it’s definitely just my own experience as a mom of one solo boy talking, but there’s simply nothing like that special time with your first born baby, the one who turned you into parents. (I’ll stop here so we can all grab a tissue.)
To the wonderful Powell fam, thank you as always for entrusting me with your most cherished memories. I adore getting to document every one of your chapters, and I know without a doubt that this next one is going to be the best yet!
