There were a lot of last minute changes. But to the two of them, it wasn’t about where they said their vows. Or the setup of the room they would share their first dance in. It wasn’t about the colors or the flowers or the linens. Their’s was simply a wedding day about marrying their best friend. Their soul mate. And that day, in front of all of their favorite faces, they did just that . . . .

Meghan and Robert are married! The two of them said their vows in an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard of the Straz Center, and then celebrated with an evening reception at Maestro’s. Before a sweet first look, the two of them got ready in individual dressing rooms of the theater, which gave the getting ready portion of the day such a fun vibe! (Being giant theater nerds ourselves we were SO into the bulbs around the mirrors and sneaking back and forth between their dressing rooms through the backstage area!) The soon to be newlyweds opted to exchange gifts right after their first look, and it was so sweet to watch their reactions as each one was unwrapped.

Meghan wore a beautifully fitted gown, which she kept a surprise to most everyone (including her bridesmaids) until she had it on. And the blush and navy color palette of the day was carried through the bridal party attire and into the awesome space of Maestro’s, with the simple centerpieces popping against the navy linens. Guests were given miniature lanterns as favors, and at the end of the night Meghan + Robert ran through the tunnel of them before departing in a banner-lined boat. It was such a fun and unique twist on the traditional formal exit!

Meghan and Robert, we just adored everything about this day. Watching you two maintain the focus of what your wedding day was truly about, through all of the chaos and changes of your planning process, was so incredibly heart-filling. You two ended up with one absolutely perfect wedding day and we loved spending it by your side’s!
