We are always so excited when a Starkey Ranch engagement session pops up, not only because we called it home for two years but because it is truly stunning. With all the moss filled trees, gorgeous florals, and scenery that makes us feel like we stepped out of Florida every time we visit, it is one of our favorite places in the Tampa area. And getting to document Kelly + Tim’s engagement session there was even more special since it’s a place that is also meaningful to them.
Kelly and Tim used to be our next door neighbors when we lived in Starkey Ranch, and we simply adore that after moving to another hemisphere and back we all managed to keep in touch. AND that we now get to be a part of their wedding day later this year! Life really is surprising in the best of ways sometimes (and the surprises continued when the monsoon that happened just before their session seemed to miraculously skip the ranch!) It was so fun to catch up with them, chat about all our favorite shows, mutual love of all things Disney, and their wedding plans. The two of them are going to tie the knot at the end of this year at the lovely Feather Sound Country Club and we can’t wait to see it all come together!
Kelly and Tim, it was so wonderful to get to spend time with you both and we can’t wait to do it again soon!
