As you guys know, there are few things that we love more than documenting a couple’s wedding day. BUT, one of the things we do love every bit as much is getting an email from that same couple letting us know it’s time to schedule a maternity shoot (at which point Sarah usually breaks into a million mushy tears because of what she has dubbed “Sarah & Ben Babies”). We always feel so incredibly humbled and lucky to get to preserve wedding day memories, and getting to do that all over again for another chapter of someone’s love story makes our hearts feel like they could just BURST.
You may remember Katie and Mike from their gorgeous wintery wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts (remember that perfect fur stole?!) We got together with them in downtown St. Pete for a little exploring before we headed over to Canterbury for some baseball themed portraits. The two of them are expecting a little boy this July, and we thought it was so fun to see how they incorporated Mike’s love of baseball into their session. It was just too cute to think of Mike bringing him back to that very same field one day to throw the ball around (cue aaaalllll the tears!)
Katie + Mike, we absolutely couldn’t be more excited for you guys and we know you are going to make the most amazing parents! Thank you for entrusting us with another exciting time in your live’s and for braving the rain, we absolutely loved seeing you again!
