ringling museum engagement: casey + tamara

Casey and Tamara are getting (legally!!) married this year, and we were so excited to finally get together with them in person for their engagement session. And while we were going to write the normal style of blurb we usually do all about where we shot and our favorite moments, we simply want to describe this one. Because it was one of those milliseconds of time we always want to remember.

It was a moment in the middle of their session. We had just stopped in a patch of lovely light, on an empty path the rest of the museum goers seemed to overlook. And after taking a minute to meter our cameras, we turned back around to find the two of them cuddling so sweetly, that we whispered to each other so as not to disturb them. And we went on like that for a few moments, us moving around silently as we shot and them cuddling unknowingly. It wasn’t because it was their engagement session or because they had to turn it on for a few hours for strangers. It is simply how the two of them are together.  So utterly and completely in love that they can’t help but smile widely when they look at each other, or giggle when one of them brushes the hair out of the others face. Their love is a grand, meant to be love, but it’s also the there every minute of every day kind. And that is something we are always so very humbled to document.

Casey and Tamara, thank you both so much for driving down for your session and for entrusting us with your love story. We had a fabulous afternoon with you two, and are beyond excited to document your best day ever in October!
